The Civil Society Dialogue Project held a public Convention on 12 April at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia. The partners of the project and the participants from various events presented results and findings from the Civil Society Dialogue Project aimed at developing a vision for a common future in a re-united Cyprus. |

Cyprus Environmental Symposium: Our Shared Future
Kyrenia, 12th January 2007— Civil Society Dialogue Project, the Chamber of Environmental Engineers and KTMMOB are organising an environmental symposium at the Colony Hotel, Kyrenia. A number of Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot environmental groups will gather to hold a public symposium on environmental issues affecting our island with the aim of providing an opportunity to point out alarming environmental problems Cyprus is facing, raise awareness and call for action.

Drucker, will offer a seminar on Media Literacy at The Fulbright Centre on Monday, 16 July during their visit to Cyprus. The seminar, organised by the Civil Society Dialogue Project, will start at 18.30 and will be followed by a reception.

ΔΙΑΛΟΓΟΣ ΠΟΛΙΤΙΚΗΣ ΚΟΙΝΩΝΙΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΤΕΧΝΟΛΟΓΙΑ ΤΗΣ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑΣ
Λευκωσία, 16 Ιουλίου, 2007 – Ο Δρ. Αλέκο Χριστάκης, ένας από τους ιδρυτές της κυβερνητικής επιστήμης (cybernetics science), θα βρίσκεται στην Κύπρο από της 6 Ιουλίου για να υποστηρίξει την εφαρμογή της Δομημένης Διαδικασίας Μεθοδολογίας Διαλόγου (Structured Design Dialogue Process), σε μια προσπάθεια για κοινωνικές μεταρρυθμίσεις. Κατά τη διάρκεια της παραμονής του, ο Δρ Χριστάκης θα προσφέρει μια δημόσια διάλεξη στο κέντρο Fulbright την Πέμπτη, 12 Ιουλίου. Η διάλεξη που διοργανώνεται από το πρόγραμμα Διάλογος Πολιτικής Κοινωνίας (Civil Society Dialogue Project), θα αρχίσει στις 630 μ.μ και έπειτα θα ακολουθήσει δεξίωση. |

Civil Society Dialogue and Technology of Democracy
Nicosia, July 9th 2007—Dr. Aleco Christakis, one of the founding fathers of cybernetics science, will be returning to Cyprus this month to support local pioneers in the application of the Structured Dialogic Design Process methodology which they use in their efforts towards social change. Dr. Christakis will offer a public lecture at The Fulbright Centre on Thursday, 12 July at 18.30, followed by a reception. The lecture is organised by the Civil Society Dialogue Project.
